Jacqueline Bango is a clinical social worker with 10 years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders. She completed her bachelor’s degree in social work at Providence College, and earned her master’s degree in social work from the University of Connecticut. Jacqueline has experience working in community mental health, methadone maintenance, and in private practice. Prior to joining Bicycle Health, she also served as the Social Work Clinical Supervisor for the Substance Use Disorders Initiative at Massachusetts General Hospital. She has extensive experience working with individuals on medication for opioid use disorder, and specializes in helping people who struggle with anxiety and depression.
Jacqueline utilizes the cognitive-behavioral framework in her practice, and takes a person-centered and strengths-based approach with her patients. She is grateful to have the opportunity to support her patients in regaining control of their lives, and helping them to become the best possible versions of themselves!
