Kimberly Wingard is a board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner. She joined Bicycle Health as a medical provider in June of 2023. Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She completed a Post-Master's Certification as a PMHNP at Maryville University.
Kimberly has 10 years of clinical experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric and substance use disorders. She has focused her career on behavioral health and addiction medicine. Her previous experience includes primary care, internal medicine, home health and geriatric care in psychiatry.
Her responsibilities at Bicycle Health include providing evidence-based treatment of patients with Opioid Use Disorder with a mission to improve the quality of life of those in recovery.
Kimberly finds it rewarding to work with individuals with addictions and mental health disorders. She is dedicated to assisting her patients in achieving a balanced life while encouraging them to visualize and embrace a fulfilling life with hope. She is passionate about increasing access to substance use disorder treatment, mental health care, and promoting harm reduction. She aims to help as many patients as possible navigate their journey to an opioid-free life.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys live music, reading, traveling, and helping others.
