LaTara Taylor NP

LaTara Taylor is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and she is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She was honored to receive these Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University, Orlando, Florida. Her education also includes a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Chamberlain University, which she utilized for a rewarding career of Emergency Room Management. She possesses over 15 years of nursing experience which range from telemetry, trauma, medical surgical, critical care, hospice, pediatrics, cardiology, orthopedics, mental health and psychiatry. The field of nursing has always been near and dear to LaTara's heart and the ability nurses have to make a change and their impact in all walks of life is what drives her everyday. She strongly believes there is no better blessing then the ability to be the blessing to others. LaTara feels she did not elect her career path but felt it chose her by great influences by many strong women in her life to include her Grandmother Christine and mother Bridgette. Prior to becoming a registered nurse LaTara enthusiastically served her country by enlisting in the USAF. She is the proud mother of a 18-year-old young lady who is her motivation and inspiration for success. In her spare time, she attends her local church, she is an avid reader and enjoys reading and writing poetry.
